SUMMARY:National Environmental Farm Plan Summit
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the second annual National EFP Summit hosted by the NEFP Steering Committee. Fostered by the success of the inaugural summit in 2016\, stakeholders from farm to table formed this committee to work together in harmonizing the provincial and territorial EFP programs from coast-to-coast as an outcomes-based\, producer-driven national standard. \nThe 2017 summit is an opportunity to bring stakeholders together once again to learn about the progress so far and participate in valuable conversations that will further guide the national harmonization effort. \nParticipants will hear from the newly formed standing committees in place to develop NEFP practices regarding data collection management\, verification/assurance and standards\, all of which are being supported by comprehensive communications as an on-going mechanism to collect feedback. Attendees will also hear from industry experts who will lay the foundation for meaningful conversation and valued input from our stakeholders. \n
