Planners\, Economic Developers\, Food Producers\, Food Processors\, Retailers\, Restaurateurs\, Food Tourism operators and promoters\, Environmentalists\, Eaters\, and anyone interested in creating a Sustainable Food System for our region. \nWhy should I attend? Steve Duff\, Chief Economist and Heather Candler\, Agriculture and Rural Economic Development Advisor both with OMAFRA will be discussing the new Agriculture Economic Development Tool. This Agricultural Economic Development Tool is designed to help economic developers\, land-use planners\, municipal councils and community leaders explore agriculture as an economic development opportunity. Jocelyn Beattie\, our regional OMAFRA Planner with be leading the Municipal Food Planning session. \n\n
