DESCRIPTION:BC Farmers’ Markets Conference Heads East to Kimberley/Cranbrook March 8-10\, 2019 \nJoin us March 8-10\, 2019 for our annual BC farmers’ markets conference! We’re excited to bring the conference to the Kootenay Rockies & Columbia Basin region for the very first time\, with support from our presenting sponsor\, Columbia Basin Trust. Our 2019 host markets are: Kimberley Farmers’ Market and the Cranbrook Farmer’s Market. \nThe 2019 conference theme is “Cultivating Community.” We will explore how we can grow and strengthen the farmers’ market sector through outreach and connections\, working with various members of our communities. \nOur annual conference brings together farmers’ market organizers\, boards of directors\, farmers\, vendors\, small scale food processors\, and community leaders. The weekend is packed full of workshops\, networking opportunities\, social activities\, and the annual Farmers’ Market Awards. We hope you will join us! \n
