Summary
Farm Management Canada is seeking a young professional to join our small team in a national non-profit organization. This internship position will create and coordinate a communications and marketing strategy for the organization that leverages our recent work in mental health, farm management and risk management. If you are a passionate, confident, creative, self motivated young professional with experience or educated in marketing and communication strategies, we would like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Lead brainstorming sessions
- Meet with project managers regularly to discuss progress and ideas
- With guidance from managers and Executive Director create, develop and implement a communications and marketing strategy
Abilities
- Ability to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders and work as part of a team
- Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) in English for the purpose of completing daily activities is required
- Ability to lead and take direction
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Ability to work on your own with little supervision
- Ability to write in French would be an asset

- Effective listening skills and the ability to communicate complex information in a straightforward, clear manner both verbally and in writing are key when interacting with stakeholders
